Tradetional Diplomacy - What are the impressions of the old diplomacy? Has it become outdayed?
the importance of communication is a vital in the world that we live in today, and that the means to which tradetional diplomacy still plays an important factor through states action with one another. tradetional diplomacy played a mojor role in world politics beacuse it objectives was to get two parties which are involved. i.e in a conflict, or co-operation and that those that are involved engage with one another.
The importance of tradetion diplomacy was that diplomacy plays a uncondetional part on a country's action to another, and no where was this important then maintaining embassies with one another. The importance that embassies plays are crucial, as if a conflict arises or other major imcident, the first point would be to liase with its embassy. The world we live in today is not the world we lived in before and this has undermined tradetional diplomacy as we know it.
As in the past it would be two representives engaging with each other, direct diplomacy, on todays world you have other powers which have come to be play a dominent role on world politics. NGO's and non - state actors have been able to achieve just as much leverage and objectives as was done in tradtional therapy. Today diplomacy has became a broader context in the sene that you no longer need to engage with each other, through the internet and globalization has made it more easier for states to engage with one another, taking away the principle role that tradetional diplomacy was supposed to play.
In summary, tradetional diplomacy still plays a vital role on states interactions with one another, states secrecy is still widely practiced, and that however one look as the motives on tradetional diplomcay, then we can see that its importance in communication for states is just as vital as it was in the past. So in essence tradetional diplomacy still has its importance, through globalization it has been made more braoder context in international politics.
